'Healthy' Magazine Analysis...
These are my four tasks which were set in class.
I had to analyse four magazine covers.
The first one was a women's health magazine.
The second and third were university magazines.
The fourth one was my own school sixth form prospectus.
Nature Magazine..
This is my front cover for a nature magazine which I created as part of a task to help me learn how to use photoshop. We were given cameras to go out and take pictures for our front cover. Out of about twenty photos, I chose this one, because it is a very natural photo and represetns the time of year and the season of the distribution of the magazine. I chose the colour orange because it is a neautral colour and also represents the natural feel of the magazine. The title 'Country Style' is at the top of the page in bigger and bolder font so that the readers know exactly what it's called, and also the kind of idea of what it is going to be about, and the genre of the magazine, which is clearly 'nature'. The price of the magazine I chose was £1.10 because it is nt a commercial magazine with a large number of readers, it will only be targetting a certain audience. I used photoshop to create my magazine cover and just used the photo as the background and unedited as I felt that it was already adiquate as my main picture. I used the text tool to create the writing for the title and cover/selling lines, and just edited the font and size, and also moved them to where I wanted them on the page.
